How DocPouch works

How it works.

Seven steps from telling us who you are to signing for your delivered Prescriber Bag. The whole flow takes about two minutes the first time, and under a minute on every reorder.

01

Tell us who you are

Name, AHPRA registration number, PBS prescriber number, and clinic address. No prior account creation is required to start an order. Your prescriber type - medical practitioner, authorised nurse practitioner, or authorised midwife - determines which items are available to you.

02

Build your order

Take the standard monthly Prescriber Bag set, or pick only the items you are running low on. Group-number maximum-quantity rules apply across each therapeutic group, not item by item. Stock-on-hand rules apply per item.

03

Upload your signed PB052

Take a phone photo or scan of your completed Prescriber Bag Supply Order Form (PB052). Triplicate, signed, dated. JPG, PNG, or PDF accepted. The signed paper PB052 remains the legal authority for supply under PBS rules - uploading is what gets the order moving.

Need a fresh PB052 order book? Order one from Services Australia via your HPOS account.

04

Pharmacy review

Priceline Pharmacy Sunshine Marketplace verifies your AHPRA registration against the public AHPRA register, checks the PB052 against the live PBS schedule, and confirms the requested items, group rules, and quantities are valid. Pharmacist-reviewed before any item is dispensed.

05

Dispatch and tracking

Approved orders are prepared and dispatched with Australia Post tracking. Cold-chain items are shipped in insulated packaging with temperature monitoring. Free delivery to every Australian postcode - including rural and remote - at no surcharge.

06

Post the original PB052 back

Every delivery includes a reply-paid envelope addressed to Priceline Pharmacy Sunshine Marketplace. Place the signed original and duplicate copies of the PB052 in the envelope and drop it in any Australia Post box. No stamp, no addressing. The triplicate copy stays with you for your records.

07

Sign on receipt

When your bag arrives, sign the receipt. Schedule 8 items must then be transferred to locked storage that complies with the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances legislation in your state or territory. Cold-chain items must be transferred to your medication fridge (2–8°C) within the recommended window.

Reminder: The signed PB052 remains the legal instruction for supply under PBS rules. The original and duplicate copies must reach the supplying pharmacy. Uploading the form gets your order moving but does not replace the requirement to provide the original documentation. See pbs.gov.au/browse/doctorsbag for the live PBS Prescriber Bag schedule and supply rules.
